Tamad app for iPhone and iPad

The Tamad App is a free application that allows you to automatically share travel times with friends, family, colleagues and clients for;
• A safer drive by automatically sending SMS’ on your behalf
• Saving time by making sure your appointment is ready for you

It works in 4 simple steps (www.tamadapp.com);
1. Select a contact – or enter a number
2. Enter a destination – where you’ll be meeting the person
3. Choose a time – when you want the Tamad to be sent
4. Press Send Tamad

Once set up, all you need to do is start driving and Tamad will automatically let your recipients know how far you are from your destinations.

The best part is, notifications are sent via SMS. Which means recipients don’t need the app or a web enabled device, just basic SMS receiving capability.

Don’t Text and Drive
Firstly, using a phone while driving greatly increases the risk of road accidents. ETA’s are a common message sent by people driving e.g. “5 minutes away” or “on my way”. Tamad completely automates these messages allowing drivers to concentrate on the road.
 
Time Saving Application
Secondly, remember all the appointments you booked with broadband or phone technicians, trades people, delivery drivers, chauffer’s and real-estate or sales agents. Most of them gave you a time range like 12PM to 5PM. Tamad allows all these professionals to let their clients know when they are arriving so they can plan their days better and can be ready for the appointments.
 
Recipients will receive an SMS like
"Joe Bloggs is approximately 15 minutes away. (www.tamadapp.com)".

You can further customise the message via a monthly subscription. So if you want to look even more professional, you can create a message like
"Jon Snow from JS Sales is approximately10 minutes away. Call 00000000 if you have any queries" See Subscription information below.

Use Tamad when driving, walking, taking an Uber or a taxi. Delivering packages or going for a coffee. And share your experience on Facebook or whatsapp via a share button.

Please Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

PRO SUBSCRIPTION
Tamad offers a subscription to the Professional (PRO) version within the app. The subscription gives you the ability to;
1. Add additional text and emoticons to your message, before and after the “approximately x minutes away” text.
2. Removes the text “(www.tamadapp.com)”

For example, a PRO message could look like "Jon Snow from JS Sales is approximately10 minutes away. Call 00000000 if you have any queries"

SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION
• Title of subscription service: Pro
• Subscription period: Monthly
• Price per subscription: $0.99 United States Dollars
• Payments: Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
• Auto-Renewal: The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
• Charge date(s): The account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal
• Subscription management: Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the users Account Settings after purchase.
• Cancellation during period: No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period.
• Unused free trail: Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication.
